It is obvious there has been no attempt to rid The Hunter Valley from this blanket of choking coal dust.  The horizon, once fresh and unblemished, now layered in different shades of grey, increasing in darkness and decreasing visibility as the air hugs the earth closer and closer.
How can such a dim sight be ignored?  How can profiteers continue to ignore such a disgusting vista.  The Hunter Valley should be recognised for it's beauty, let alone it's world class wines.  Instead there is a dark cloud slowly suffocating The Hunter Valley, as does a cat suffocate the new-born by delicately laying on it's face - all in an 'air of innocence'. . . more pictures

Born in the South of France (Aix en Provence) I found myself residing in Australia at the age of eight; as my family migrated in 1971.
Although my trade is ‘ceramic wall and floor tiler’, I now enjoy performing Paramedical duties in my ‘newly’ found career - since 1995 (not that new I guess).
I love poetry and short stories (short attention span . . . lol). I first started to write in the mid eighties, and am looking forward to publishing all my work (at least most of it), and hope readers enjoy my style as much as I love immersing myself in the work of others.
Feel free to contact me; I love all feedback - or just a chat.
